Colonial Cartage Corporation Recognized by Georgia Motor Trucking Association

ATLANTA, GA., May 13, 2024 – Colonial Cartage (Colonial) has placed first in GMTA’s General Commodities – LTL Division 1-5 million Miles Truck Safety Contest. Colonial has also won the GMTA President’s award for 2024!

“I am very proud to announce that all 52 of Colonial drivers were accident free on Georgia public roadways in 2023” said Allen Patterson, Colonial Cartage ‘s Fleet Safety & Compliance Director.

A panel of judges selected by the GMTA Safety Management Council judged all entries and determined all winners, giving consideration to the following factors:

◼ Interest Shown in Trucking Industry Safety Activities

◼ Improvement in Safety Record
